call me sacagawea

I wore this boho tribal outfit for my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary party. It was just a few days before the 4th of July, so I really loved the red, white, & blue embroidered neckline to give a nod towards our independence. Many people thought that this ensemble was a dress, but it's a skirt and shirt. I seldom go matchy-matchy with the top & skirt, but it seemed fitting for a summer party. My cousin told me to call this my Sacagawea look, so for her, I did just that. embroidered-peasant-top

Embroidery & gladiator sandals are two huge summer trends. They seamlessly fit into my wardrobe {and I've already owned them}!

I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend! I escaped to the mountains with my family.
