drip dry, dip dye

May 11, 2015

boho-goddessFor years, I have loved this dip dye maxi dress. It oozes goddess vibes, accentuating curves, and is made for summer days. Unless I'm on the beach, it's a little too revealing, so I paired my trusty olive green cargo jacket with it the dress. The day we were taking pictures, I found the coolest ring at a thrift store {which you will see below} that had so much character. Treasure hunting success! Seriously, the gal who tools these pictures, Satie Marie, is the bomb! I feel like she makes plain old me look 70x better! Read on for more details of some exciting things happening!

Life has been a headache lately, both literally & figuratively. I have a migraine that's been hanging around for a good week + my schedule just kind of exploded. Being an introvert, if I don't get some down time & alone time to regroup, I feel frazzled and uncentered.

Exciting news that I've been hoping for forever to happen: I'm going home to Tennessee for a couple of weeks. I cannot wait. There are moments in life when you just feel you need to go back to your roots to not only get back to you, but remind yourself of what's really important in life. I can't wait to catch up with my friends & family I've missed so much and eat some Southern food. I've only been back home 10 days in the 2 years I've been gone, so it's really time that I go hang for a minute.

Do you have any upcoming trips you're excited about this summer?
